About Us Following the largest outsourcing in the history of UK debt recovery, Tessera began life in 1990 as the debt recovery division of Tarlo Lyons Solicitors. Tessera Group plc was then formed after a successful management buy out in 1998. Tessera is a privately owned public company, poised for further dynamic growth with a proven ability to respond to new opportunities and industry changes. We have a young, entrepreneurial management team, with a wealth of collective professional experience. Our industry accreditations reflect the importance we place upon compliance and best practice, and include membership of the Credit Services Association, CAIS (Experian) and Insight (Equifax).
