Tessera Blitzes the CAI
The CAI launched in June, after months of hard work and two successful pilot phases - and Tessera has secured an amazing 100% success rate!
The Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI) is available exclusively to members of the CSA and is an online test, used to benchmark a collector's knowledge and compliance to a high quality industry standard.
This translates to a real benefit to members of the organisation – enabling them to give a clear signal to existing or potential clients that their commitment to compliance is not just a tick box, but something that extends throughout their entire organisation.
Tessera is delighted to be one of the pioneers of this programme. Leigh Berkley, DBSG Chairman and Chief Executive of Tessera, explained: "I am delighted that Tessera has become the sixth company in the UK to achieve Company Accreditation in the CSA's CAI.
"We can be very proud as a company that we have hugely exceeded the 70% benchmark – and with remaining colleagues still yet to take the test!
Tessera's Company Accreditation status currently stands at 100% - well above the industry benchmark of 70%.
Leigh said: "This is a resounding endorsement of the compliance standards we maintain as a company."
Dr Roger Lucas, President of the CSA, added: "Congratulations to all at Tessera for this great achievement. Thank you for helping to take our industry forward."
CSA members will not only be able to use the results of their tests to demonstrate their understanding and competence of compliance issues to customers, but also to help shape and inform decisions surrounding individual employees and their professional development requirements.
The CAI 'test' is undertaken at the collector's place of work and will accredit the individual collector for 12 months. The cost for the test is £20 per head.
