Data Gathering Gains Pace

CSA members have been contacted in the last few weeks with a very special request for data.

This request is the first under the association's mandatory Data Gathering Initiative (DGI). The industry has been working in partnership with PwC to develop an easy-to-use online portal – a simple system that will allow all members to swiftly submit their data via a tailor-made online resource.

Although the process is mandatory for all members, the CSA has taken all the necessary steps to ensure that its introduction has been as smooth as possible.

The initiative will require a broad range of data to be submitted on a quarterly basis and will help provide the CSA with the information it needs to support claims it makes when addressing any of the wide ranging issues facing our industry.

The new project – which was voted in at the recent Half Yearly Meeting – went live on 30th June.
