Equality Act 2010 Goes Live
The new Equality Act 2010 came into effect on 1st October – and Tessera is taking its new commitments to all members of staff very seriously.
Tessera's HR team have been busy training and educating all line management on this new Act, which consolidates all existing discrimination laws into a single piece of legislation.
In addition, the 'Tessera Dignity at Work Policy and Equal Opportunity Policy' has been updated and published to all staff.
As an Equal Opportunity employer Tessera takes proactive measures to ensure compliance to the spirit as well as the letter of the law.
