New CEO for CSA
Could you lead the industry?
Following the retirement of Kurt Obermaier, the CSA is in the process of recruiting a new Chief Executive.
The role, based in Newcastle upon Tyne is an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop the credit services industry in the UK. The CSA, which incorporates the DBSG, is the only national association in the UK for companies offering services to financial institutions, trade finance companies, utility companies, local authorities, educational establishments, health authorities, government agencies and a wide range of commercial and professional services business in the recovery of receivables.
Providing essential support, information, guidance, education and expertise to over 300 member organisations, the CSA represents a significant part of the UK economy, around £15 billion in value terms.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the board in developing new policies and strategies, representing the interests and values of the sector to Government, the media and the general public.
They will also help to create and deliver a range of products and services to members of the CSA through leadership of a strongly performing support team. In addition, they will establish and maintain effective and influential professional relationships, bringing the industry closer to external bodies and successfully interacting with all key stakeholders.
With that in mind, the candidate will need to be both commercially aware and financially astute, with a track record of successful business management. They will also have a strong track record of leadership within a dynamic environment, with demonstrable success in the implementation and development of a strongly performing enterprise. Finally, they must have a passion for the industry and commitment to upholding the key core values and standards of the industry.
