NVQ Success
Tessera is celebrating once again, with even more members of its ever-growing team gaining valuable work-based qualifications through courses run by South East Essex College.
And, best of all, everyone passed their NVQs in Business and Administration or Contact Centres.
Susan Alabaster, Tessera's Head of HR & Compliance, explained: "NVQs are a great way for individuals to learn. They learn as they go and are encouraged to think about how and why we do things the way we do within the business.
"And, by getting a number of people to go through the qualification at the same time they are able to support one another and share in a common experience
The qualifications are designed to sharpen business skills and provide a deeper level of knowledge and understanding - as well as underline the individual's impact upon an entire company.
Susan added: "These qualifications require hard work and commitment from individuals - it is not just a case of attending a one off training course. They need to apply good practice and demonstrate their competence in a number of learning areas over a number of months Every member of Tessera staff who achieves such a qualification should rightly feel proud of themselves."
South East Essex College delivers these and many other business development courses with a wide range of other small, medium and large companies across Essex, including B&Q and Royal Bank of Scotland.
